Michael Harris, CPA

Michael Harris, CPA, is Director of Finance at GPS Capital Markets. His responsibilities include overseeing the operations and finance functions of GPS. Additionally, he manages a group that does foreign exchange and hedge consulting for various corporations globally. This team focuses primarily on accounting for foreign exchange and hedging contracts, including hedge accounting under ASC 815 and IFRS 9. Previously, he has served a number of roles at GPS, including as project manager for a number of GPS’ flagship products including its Balance Sheet Hedging tool. Michael graduated with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Utah.
